What do I have to do to become a leader?

Quest Training

Leaders in the New York City Region go through an eight-week training course during the fall or spring semesters. You will learn everything from the history of Young Life to the "how's" and "what's" of leading in either high school, college, middle school, or with Young Life's Capernaum and YoungLives ministries. This is the best training to grow in your leadership, serve on campus and in the surrounding community, and learn how to share with others the great news of a God who loves them.

The next semester of Quest will kick off in February.  Please email our administrator, Travis Smith at  travis.a.smith@gmail.com for more information.

Opportunities for Adults and Parents to Get Involved

Volunteer Leaders

Volunteer leaders are absolutely vital to the mission of Young Life.  It is their involvement that allows lives to be changed.  Young life volunteer leaders participate in a full range of activities that help them build these significant relationships with kids.  Each Young Life area has a different process for becoming a Young Life leader.  If you are interested in volunteering for Young Life in Southeastern Queens, contact Travis Smith at travis.a.smith@gmail.com for more information.
